1914 Quarter Eagle, MS64+
Lowest Mintage Philadelphia Issue
1914 $2 1/2 MS64+ PCGS. This Select Mint State piece has
trivial marks over pleasing light yellow-gold surfaces. While
obtainable in MS64, Plus-designated coins are a distinct minority
and Gems are very scarce. The 1914 Indian quarter eagle has the
lowest mintage of any Philadelphia Mint issue with a coinage total
of 240,000 pieces, a total only eclipsed by the 1911-D at
55,680.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2017), lot 6665.(Registry values: N4719)
