Description
1943 Cent, MS62, Struck on a
Brass Cuba 1 Centavo Planchet
1943 1C Lincoln Cent -- Struck on a Cuba 1 Centavo Planchet --
MS62 PCGS. The U.S. Mint struck Cuba centavos (KM-9.2a) in
1943, in addition to many other foreign issues. This satiny wrong
planchet error is slightly uncentered toward 2:30, but the date is
intact aside from the bottom half of the 3. Brassy olive and rose
aside from a pair of faint gray spots on the lower obverse. Less
valuable than a 1943 bronze cent, but likely just as rare. From The Geyer Family Collection.
