1825 1/2 C MS64 Brown PCGS. C-2, B-2, R.1. Although rated R.1, the 1825 C-2 half cent is seldom seen in Mint State grades. This example is fully lustrous with light brown surfaces and splashes of maroon patina. Close examination reveals traces of original mint red in the protected areas. MRB AU55.
