Description

1858-C Five Dollar, XF45
Attractive, Collectible Example

1858-C $5 XF45 NGC. Winter-1. Two varieties share the same obverse, with the mintmark position differentiating the two varieties. This Winter-1 example shows the mintmark further left. While the 1858-C half eagle is not considered scarce until the upper About Uncirculated grades, Choice XF examples receive strong collector attention as well. This lightly circulated piece is well-detailed for the XF45 grade level, with consistent olive-gold color and smooth, problem-free surfaces.(Registry values: P3)
