Description

1913 Quarter, PR67+
Among the Finest Certified

1913 25C PR67+ PCGS. CAC. Certainly one of the finest proof 1913 quarters known -- not an example we are familiar with, although we have sold some outstanding 1913 proofs in the past. Original toning ranges from pale-gold to gunbarrel-blue shades with reddish-gold color mixed in. Deeply mirrored fields surround fully struck, lightly frosted central motifs. Just 613 proofs were struck, but only a handful of survivors can match this high-end Superb Gem. Population: 12 in 67 (3 in 67+), 3 finer. CAC: 10 in 67, 2 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N2998)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 242V, PCGS# 5699, Greysheet# 5524)
