Description

1825 Half Dollar, MS64+
Very Scarce O-104
Condition Census Quality

1825 50C O-104, High R.4, MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The very scarce O-104 is often attributed by the die lump in the field below the left scroll end. The present near-Gem displays light and lovely ice-blue, olive-green, and almond-gold toning. The surfaces are unabraded aside from a singular depression on the cheek. A late die state example with peripheral elements drawn toward the rims, and clash marks apparent near the chin and beak. Liberty's chest is strike doubled. Among the nicest examples of the Overton variety.
