Boldly Struck
1865 25C PR66 Cameo PCGS. Only 500 proof Seated Liberty
quarters were struck in 1865, the relatively small mintage probably
due to the financial uncertainties of the last year of the Civil
War. The frosty motifs of this Premium Gem stand out sharply
against the fields that display deep russet toning. All devices are
razor sharp and neither side reveals mentionable marks. Population:
