1861 1C PR65 PCGS. CAC. Well defined with attractive honey-golden color and no singularly significant imperfections. This scarce issue has the highest listed mintage of the copper-nickel proofs, but a large portion of these never left the mint. This is a truly lovely Gem. Population: 42 in 65 (3 in 65+), 5 finer. CAC: 8 in 65, 3 finer (12/24).
