Key Series Issue
1904-S 50C AU55 PCGS. CAC. The Barber half series is one of
the most challenging (yet possible) collections in high-grade
circulated condition to assemble. There are no real "stoppers,"
although a handful of issues require patience and diligence. The
1904-S is one of them. This Choice About Uncirculated example
offers delightful originality and surface quality. CAC endorsed,
the lightly toned fields and devices are slightly iridescent with
rich shades of orange-gold and blue on the obverse. There are no
serious marks to distract from the sharply defined devices.
