1897-O Dollar, Untoned MS63
Conditionally Scarce Southern Issue

1897-O $1 MS63 NGC. This conditionally scarce New Orleans Morgan dollar is plentiful in circulated and lower Mint State grades but becomes challenging in Select Uncirculated condition. The average certified grade is AU55, but that reflects only higher-value coins being sent in for certification. This Select Mint State example is brilliant with shimmering mint luster and minimally scattered marks.
