Beautifully Lustrous and Sharp

1909-S 1C VDB MS66 Red PCGS. Sharp and vibrantly lustrous, yielding lovely copper-orange and golden luster with no mentionable spots or abrasions. The 1909-S VDB is in high demand in this grade, as finer Red pieces are rare and far out of reach for most collectors. The popularity of this issue as the series key date formed early. Some pieces were saved in Uncirculated condition, while most went into commerce and were subsequently sought out by generations of collectors in the decades that followed.
