Description

1914 Cent, MS66 Red
Outstanding Original Luster

1914 1C MS66 Red PCGS. The Denver issue of this year gets most of the attention, although the Philadelphia coin is itself conditionally scarce at the Premium Gem Red grade level, and it is rare finer. This coin displays a sharp strike and strong copper-orange luster with no overt spotting or abrasions. 1914 Philadelphia cents this fine are often only appreciated for their scarcity once Registry collectors try to find one, and come up empty handed. Population: 85 in 66 (16 in 66+) Red, 9 finer (12/24).(Registry values: N991)
