Uncirculated Details Key 1889-CC Morgan

1889-CC $1 --Improperly Cleaned--NGC Details. Unc. This fully struck Carson City dollar has a hint of sun-gold toning. The fields are moderately prooflike, but are subdued from dipping. Surprisingly free from bagmarks, and a coin that many collectors would treasure. The 1889-CC is the key date of the CC-mint Morgan series, represented by only a single example (not the present coin!) within the famous GSA hoard.(Registry values: P9, N4719)
