Description

1878-CC Morgan Dollar, MS66+
Frosty and Attractive

1878-CC $1 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. VAM-9. Mintmark tilted right, broken right-hand star. This CAC-endorsed Premium Gem 1878-CC Morgan dollar displays brilliant, frosty luster with razor-sharp relief detail. The only mentionable abrasion is a thin pinscratch hidden within the eagle's tailfeathers that blends well with the distinct die line in the fields of that region. Eye appeal is superb. This first-year Carson City Morgan is rarely seen finer, with PCGS having graded only six such coins (6/16).(Registry values: P4, N2998)
