1879-CC $1 Capped Die, VAM-3, GSA, MS63 NGC. A Top 100
Variety. Rich golden-brown, mauve, and navy-blue toning endows the
upper reverse. The obverse shows similar shades near the date.
Lustrous and nicely struck with smooth fields and moderate marks on
Liberty's face and neck. The dramatic VAM with myriad die chips in
