Description

1864 Seated Dime, Mostly Brilliant MS65
Low-Mintage Issue

1864 10C MS65 PCGS. A low-mintage date was coined to the extent of only 11,000 pieces plus 470 proofs, and examples are understandably scarce in all grades. The present Gem specimen is mostly brilliant, with a blush of lilac patina, and moderate clash marks on each side. A nice Gem example of the date, nearly unimprovable. Population: 11 in 65 (1 in 65+), 3 finer (12/13).
