1928 Hawaiian Half Dollar, MS66
Satiny With Delicate Gold and Blue Hues

1928 50C Hawaiian MS66 PCGS Gold Shield. CAC. The 1928 Hawaiian half dollar was distributed to the limited extent of 10,000 coins and is widely regarded as one of the cornerstone issues in the classic commemorative series. Each side exhibits satiny mint luster and remarkably clean surfaces for the grade. Strike detail is bold, with a touch of softness at the lower reverse. Hints of powder-blue and tan-gold patina appear throughout. PCGS reports four finer examples (12/18).(Registry values: N4719)
