Difficult AU 1855-S Three Dollar
1855-S $3 AU50 PCGS. Luster brightens the legends and device outlines. The portrait and wreath show only moderate wear. Marks are minimal for the grade. Just 6,600 pieces were struck, and since there were no West Coast collectors in 1855, examples survived only by chance.
