Description

1921-D Half Dollar, MS63
Satiny and Attractive

1921-D 50C MS63 PCGS. At 208,000 pieces, the mintage of the 1921-D Walking Liberty half dollar is the lowest in the series. This issue is also the second-rarest date in the series in high grade Uncirculated, with only the 1921-S being seen less often. The current Select example is well-struck and shows minimal abrasions for the grade. Warm champagne toning graces the surfaces, along with a few subtle wisps of lavender that appear when tilted beneath a light. Due to the scarcity and high cost of finer examples, many collectors seek attractive mid-level Uncirculated coins for their collections. The present example is about as nice as this date is found in MS63. Housed in a green label holder.(Registry values: N2998)
