Description

1850 50C Genuine PCGS. The PCGS number ending in .94 suggests Altered Surfaces as the reason, or perhaps one of the reasons, that PCGS deemed this coin not gradable. In our opinion, this coin has the details of a AU specimen with an obverse scratch that has been cleaned. A well struck but faintly hairlined half dollar with peripheral navy-blue toning and a pinscratch near the 0 in the date. A much melted lower-mintage issue.
