Description
Unheralded 1867 Three Cent Nickel MS66
1867 3CN MS66 PCGS. A bold striking accompanied by delicate golden patina and outstanding luster for the type. Die clashing is fairly pronounced and a few peripheral die cracks indicate early pressure on the dies. One might think that an issue of nearly four million pieces would be obtainable even at this lofty grade level, but poor quality of production helps make this assumption totally incorrect.
