Description
Finest PCGS Certified 1875 Three Cent Nickel
1875 3CN MS67 PCGS. A lustrous and intricately struck example, virtually as struck aside from light chestnut color. Struck from strongly clashed dies, Liberty's inverted profile is completely outlined on the left reverse field. 1875 is the first date in the series to have a production below 250,000 pieces, silver coins had returned to circulation by this time. As of (1/05), the present Superb Gem is the single highest PCGS certified 1875 Three Cent Nickel. Surprisingly, among proof strikings, no 1875 pieces have reached the PR67 level. From the Bruce Scher #1 All-Time PCGS Registry Set.(#3743) (Registry values: N2998)
