Description
1914-D Half Eagle, MS64
Attractive Luster, Few Known Finer
1914-D $5 MS64 NGC. A conditional semikey to the series, the
1914-D Indian half eagle is a rarity in Gem condition. This
near-Gem balances quality and affordability -- a combination that
is ideal for collecting purposes. The strike is well-executed, and
the frosty surfaces display original honey and rose-gold hues. A
few stray ticks limit the grade. NGC has seen only 15 numerically
finer representatives (5/16).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28DV, PCGS# 8528, Greysheet# 9328)
