1881 3CN MS67 PCGS. A decision was made in 1881 to dramatically increase the production of Three Cent Nickels, but despite a mintage of over one million pieces, relatively few Gems survive and Superb pieces are almost never seen. This delicately tinted example displays luxuriant luster and excellent highpoint definition. Population: 7 in 67, 0 finer (1/05).
