Seldom Offered in Mint Condition
1858-S $20 MS61 PCGS. The 1858-S double eagle is seldom
offered in Mint State, and only a handful of coins are known finer
than this piece. Luster cartwheels in the fields, leaving the
boldly struck central devices luminous. Orange-gold luster exhibits
scattered abrasions that are consistent with the grade. Population:
