Description

1913 Indian Eagle, MS66
Incredible Eye Appeal, Just One Finer

1913 $10 MS66 PCGS. With a mintage of 442,000 pieces the 1913 eagle is easily located in almost all grades. As with most Indian Head tens, however, Gems become quite challenging and require not only patience but also deep pockets. MS66 coins are undeniable rarities. In more than two decades Heritage has previously auctioned only about a dozen examples graded this fine, and never without intense bidder interest. This is not an opportunity to be missed.

The present coin boasts exceptional eye appeal, a standout piece even among other MS66 eagles. Rich orange-gold patina flows across both sides with occasional hints of lilac. Like other Indian Head tens, the surfaces are mattelike with frosted mint luster. A remarkably clean Premium Gem that will undoubtedly be the subject of intense bidding. Population: 15 in 66 (1 in 66+), 1 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N4719)
