Description

1914-S Indian Eagle, MS64
Challenging Any Finer

1914-S $10 MS64 PCGS. Choice yellow-gold surfaces of this 1914-S show the slightly stippled surfaces that seem to repel marks yet capture light and return it in bold cartwheel luster. The strike is extra-sharp, while marks are microscopic and entirely non-distracting. The fact that the 1914-S eagle is the scarcest of all ten-dollar Indians is witnessed by the grading events, where PCGS shows just 13 finer pieces. Population: 66 in 64 (3 in 64+), 13 finer (5/16).(Registry values: N4719)

Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 28H4, PCGS# 8877, Greysheet# 9771)

Weight: 16.72 grams

Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
