1881 $3 AU58 PCGS. A boldly struck example that offers strong reflectivity despite a touch of highpoint friction. The orange-gold and sun-gold surfaces show a handful of faint flaws, but the overall eye appeal is attractive. With its business-strike production of just 500 pieces, the 1881 is the single lowest-mintage three dollar gold issue struck for circulation.
