Almost Unknown Finer
1908-S 1C MS66+ Red PCGS. Vibrant, frosty copper-orange
luster gives this high-end Premium Gem excellent visual appeal. The
top three headdress feathers and the reverse wreath bow are
slightly soft, but no other strike weakness is seen. A couple of
tiny specks appear in the field near the tip of the bust
truncation. This elusive semikey is highly sought-after in the
upper Red grades. Population: 59 in 66 (4 in 66+) Red, 1 finer
