1847-C $5 XF40 PCGS. Variety 1. The 1847-C half eagle has the highest mintage of any Charlotte product, but the few hundred survivors are always in demand from Southern gold type collectors. This is a moderately circulated but original and problem-free caramel-gold representative. Luster emerges from all design crevices.(Registry values: P4)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25TN, PCGS# 8233, Greysheet# 8985)
