Elusive in This Grade

1862 10C MS66 PCGS. CAC. Seated dimes of 1862, from a mintage exceeding 800,000 pieces, are a common date through MS62. Even Select through Gem examples can be located with diligent searching. Light gray patina runs over the lustrous surfaces that have been well cared for, and the design elements are well-struck. Population: 15 in 66 (2 in 66+), 2 finer (3/14).(Registry values: N1793)
