Description

1917 Walking Liberty Half, MS67
Bright Mint Luster

1917 50C MS67 PCGS. CAC. PCGS has certified only two other examples of this little-saved second-year issue as MS67 with none finer (6/16), and one of the three certified is this frosty example that is housed in a second-generation holder. The central design features, such as Liberty's hand, and the more peripheral features, such as her head are equally well-defined -- certainly better than the norm for this issue. The interior of each side is generally silver; while dappled blue, violet, gold, and maroon hues present at the margin of the obverse. Barely any color is seen over the reverse. An absolutely smooth coin with eye appeal in spades.
