Struck 25% Off Center
1917-? 5C Buffalo Nickel -- Struck 25% Off Center -- MS65 PCGS
Secure. Struck widely off center toward 3 o'clock, with LIBERTY
and the mintmark location off the flan. AMERICA and CENTS are
partial. Most of the Native American is present, though the chin
and nose tip are absent. The central strike is sharp. The lustrous
stone-gray and powder-blue surfaces are unmarked though we note a
small retained field lamination beneath the O in OF.
