1889-CC $1 -- Cleaned -- NGC Details. AU. The 1889-CC Morgan
dollar is the acknowledged key to the Carson City series, with a
small mintage of 350,000 pieces. This impressive specimen shows
just a trace of wear on the high points of the design elements and
the lightly abraded surfaces are blanketed in lighter shades of
lavender-gray toning. The original mint luster is dampened by the
effects of the noted cleaning.
