Description
Proof 1856 Flying Eagle Cent
XF Sharpness, Snow-9
1856 1C -- Device Engraved -- PCGS Genuine. Proof, XF Details.
Snow-9. Portions of the eagle's plumage are strengthened with
thin marks, and the field between the EN in CENT is abraded, but
this key date cent is otherwise appealing. The blended olive-green
and chestnut-gold surfaces show moderate circulation but retain
glimmers of luster. A historic and famous issue.
