1926 Sesquicentennial Two and a Half
MS66 ★ , Rare With NGC Star
1926 $2 1/2 Sesquicentennial MS66 ★ NGC. NGC has assigned
the Star designation to only five pieces: an MS64, an MS65, and
three as MS66 (7/12). Undoubtedly, it is the rich toning pattern
that is responsible for the NGC Star. The fields are sea-green and
the devices are peach-gold. The strike is intricate throughout.
