Description

1919 Quarter, MS67 Full Head
Notably Sharp Head and Shield

1919 25C MS67 Full Head PCGS. Ex: Nevada. Impressively sharp detail characterizes much of each side on this Superb Gem example, including Full Head and shield rivets, with virtually full date numerals. On the reverse, the leading edge of the eagle's left (facing) wing is well defined. Glistening luster and brilliant surfaces complement a strong cartwheel effect. No bothersome abrasions appear beneath a loupe. While the 1919 is occasionally seen in Full Head, such coins are prohibitively rare finer than the current piece. Population: 46 in 67 (4 in 67+) Full Head, 2 finer (9/24).(Registry values: N2998)
