1824/4 O-110 Half Dollar, MS63
1824/4 50C MS63 NGC. O-110, R.2. An early die state with no indication of the eventually lengthy reverse die cracks. This repunched date half dollar has surprisingly prooflike fields, though NGC has passed on denoting that designation. The obverse margin is ocean-blue, the reverse periphery is jade-green, and the centers are lightly toned with hints of rose and gold.(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 24FK, PCGS# 6140, Greysheet# 6245)
