1854 G$1 Type Two MS60 NGC. Strongly struck with bright luster and unusual color that is pale straw-gold on the interiors with a variety of deeper peripheral shades. Though significantly abraded, this coin's MS60 grade seems a trifle harsh. Rim crumbling at 3 o'clock on the reverse adds visual interest.(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 25C3, PCGS# 7531, Greysheet# 8015)
