Description
1740-BB 1/2 SOU M French Colonies Half Sou Marque MS63 PCGS. Vlack-325, R.1. A lovely example with satiny luster and a sharp, even strike. Border dentils are mostly complete on both sides. Under a loupe the surfaces reveal no mentionable abrasions. Delicate hints of lilac toning and olive-gold accent otherwise silvery luster. This is most plentiful date of the type, ideal as a type coin. Listed on page 55 of the 2020 Guide Book.From The Poulos Family Collection, Part II.
