1840-D $5 Tall D XF45 PCGS. Variety 3-B. A charming and original green-gold Choice XF Dahlonega half eagle. The strike is excellent for the remote branch facility, and mentionable marks are confined to a nick on the reverse rim near the D in UNITED.
