Australian Gold Nugget, 0.94 Troy Ounce
Australian Gold Nugget. Encapsulated with notes by the Perth Mint, which has noted the weight (0.94 troy ounce), source (Eastern Goldfields -- actually in western Australia), and date and certificate number. The nugget itself is of a partially weathered character, not alluvial but neither crystalline. Likely of high purity, as noted by the Perth Mint to be "at least 92% gold" based on origin, "the balance being mainly silver."Auction Info
