Description
1881-S $1 MS65 PCGS. It is amazing that so many '81-S Morgan dollars were well struck, considering the high mintage; this piece is just one more example of that phenomenon. Residing in a first-generation PCGS holder, this Gem exhibits lovely, variegated rose and green iridescence on the obverse. The reverse is flashy, bright, and brilliant, save for a touch of golden-orange on the upper left border. Both sides show two or three minor marks.(Registry values: P1, N208)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2549, PCGS# 7130, Greysheet# 7486)
