Description

1865 10C Repunched Date, F-101a, R.5, MS64 NGC. Unclashed. The repunched date is visible between the primary 86. Lovely satin luster illuminates multicolor border toning on the obverse, surrounding a lilac-gray interior. The reverse is brilliant. The coin is well-struck aside from a touch of weakness on the reverse wreath bow. The 1865 dime is scarce in this and finer grades. Census: 4 in 64, 22 finer (7/19).
