Description

1871-CC Seated Dime
Only 20,100 Pieces Produced

1871-CC 10C F-101, R.4, PCGS Genuine. In our opinion, this coin has the details of a VF specimen that has Environmental Damage. The surfaces are clearly rough and corroded, and yet this example has a certain charm, and should be examined by the prospective buyer. The early Carson City Mint dimes, including this debut issue, are seldom available in any grade.
Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 6/2006), lot 1056.
