1919-D Dime, MS65 Full Bands
A Key to the Series in High Grades

1919-D 10C MS65 Full Bands PCGS. The 1919-D Mercury dime is the key to the entire series in high grades, significantly more difficult to locate in Gem Full Bands than the well-known 1916-D despite a substantial production of nearly 10 million coins. This spectacular condition rarity is almost entirely brilliant, save for the faintest blushes of golden color. Mint luster is bright and satiny, glistening over remarkably unabraded surfaces. Liberty's portrait and the central reverse bands are razor-sharp, fully split in the case of the latter, while softness occurs around parts of the periphery, including the Y in LIBERTY, the date, and the tops of AMERICA. Population: 16 in 65 Full Bands, 6 finer (7/19).
