Die State XIV, Full 'Beard'

1814 1C Plain 4, S-295, B-2, R.1. PCGS Genuine. Breen Die State XIV with a rim break above the TA in STATES. Liberty's "beard" die break is well advanced on this terminal state. This golden-brown and steel-gray cent is moderately luminous from a wipe. Thin marks are noted after star 7 and on the reverse exergue. A few hairlines are on the field near the profile, and the face displays minor contact. Our EAC grade VF30.
