Description

1652 SHILNG Oak Tree Shilling Fine 15 NGC. Noe-14, W-530, Salmon 10-G, R.4. 68.6 gn. IN at Bottom. The Spiny Tree variety. A stone-gray and almond-gold shilling without visible marks. The legends are virtually complete despite straight mint clips on the left and lower borders. Wavy surfaces protect the date and denomination at the expense of the tree, which is mostly worn aside from its base. Listed on page 39 of the 2014 Guide Book.
