Description

1907 Liberty Ten, MS65
Final-Year Issue, Scarce This Fine

1907 $10 MS65 NGC. Prior to the debut of the Saint-Gaudens Indian Head ten dollar gold design, the Philadelphia Mint struck more than 1.2 million Liberty Head tens. The quality was high but Gem Uncirculated or finer examples are rare despite the large mintage and many coins returned from foreign holdings. This is a smooth and intensely frosted coin with a needle-sharp strike and outstanding eye appeal. NGC has graded eight numerically finer examples (12/25).(Registry values: N4719)
