Description

1888 10C PR65 PCGS. Captivating teal and violet patina encircles the rose colored center of the obverse, while the reverse is covered with attractive blue and lilac toning. The surfaces appear pristine to the unaided eye, but Liberty's head is softly struck, which explains the grade. Only 832 proofs were struck. Population: 24 in 65, 17 finer (6/09).(Registry values: N1793)
